The brief

Annie Jones is a world-class pet photographer and runs her own business called ‘Puparazzi’! She loves her job so much but has not been feeling the same way about her branding. Annie wants to do a full brand makeover and make sure her branding reflects her photography style and personality – fun, bold, exciting and creative! Help Annie get the branding of her dreams so she can shine bright and get more clients! The deliverables

  • An original logo lockup with an alternate lockup and icon.
  • Color palette created to be bright and bold but well-balanced when paired together in the palette.
  • The brand pattern was very dog-inspired with some of the logo elements added in (plus some cats and paw prints to make the pattern more fun).
  • Business cards for the photographer and owner, Annie Jones.
  • Instagram template to show the client how to carry the brand across social profiles.

Takeaways

This project was largely inspired by the interests of both the client and their customers, which are dogs and cats. Having some kind of pet in the logo made the brand look more fun while also signaling who the brand is about. The brand identity also kept in mind the typical client, likely someone who is willing to spend more money on a one-of-a-kind pet photographer. It was important to me to use my own photography in the Instagram template to keep the content as original as possible. I really loved working on this project and I’m excited to share it!
